2022 MEG
A blend of Viognier, Vermentino and Muscat Blanc a Petit Grains. Mostly from Barmera off an Organic block with a small amount of Muscat from the Barossa. A touch of skin contact Vermentino makes this light white blend a little textural with a salivating acid line. Showing a lychee and apricot blossom, which a touch of spice from the Vermentino. A playful white blend, enjoyed chilled.
Viognier, Vermentino and Muscat.

Viognier was picked mid February. Lightly pressed (with the skins going to the Syrah/Viognier blend). This keeps the resulting wine fresh and crisp. It was fermented in large format Oak foudre. The Vermentino was fermented on skins to produce a spicy and textural blending component. MEG is completed with the small addition of skin fermented Muscat to add some brighter fruit notes like lychees. This white blend offers bang for its buck, bright, fresh and uncomplicated. Drink by the box load.
