Sigurd

Sigurd wines first started in 2012 with a small portion of Grenache sourced out of McLaren Vale as abit of fun and experimentation.

Since then I have based myself in the Barossa Valley and creating a few different wines to try to keep myself just that little bit busier from my day job....

Take a wander and enjoy the unknown as we are on this journey together

Cheers

Dan

'Hoyde' by Sigurd 2017 Chardonnay

45.00

Chardonnay (100%) Sourced from the Adelaide hills region. Hand-picked chardonnay which was then whole bunch pressed for one parcel. Then pressed off into a new French oak barrel for 6 months. Racked out of oak with a small amount of sulfur added also. Hand bottled and corked. ‘Hoyde’ again represents the hills that this fruit comes from and also the word being of Nordic origin for ‘Hill’.
